You might not call it trauma. Maybe it’s just the reason you can’t fully relax, why certain moments hit harder than they should, why you react in ways that surprise even you. Trauma doesn’t always announce itself. But it lives in the body, shapes your relationships, and quietly limits what feels possible.

The good news: it’s not permanent. With the right support, the nervous system can heal, old patterns can shift, and life can feel like yours again.

Who I Work With

I work with adults, teens, and families experiencing:

  • Childhood or developmental trauma
  • Physical, emotional, or sexual abuse
  • PTSD and complex PTSD (C-PTSD)
  • Relationship or betrayal trauma
  • Trauma affecting family systems and parenting
  • Trauma that shows up in the body as anxiety, chronic tension, or shutdown

How I Work

I draw on several evidence-informed approaches, and I adapt based on what you need:

  • We pay attention to what’s happening in your body, not just your thoughts. Trauma is stored physically, and healing often begins there: Somatic Therapy
  • Parts of you developed to protect you from pain. IFS helps you understand and work with those parts rather than fight them: Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • You are not your trauma. We look at the story you’ve been living inside and find ways to reauthor it: Narrative Therapy

My style adapts to what you need. Some sessions are slow and exploratory. Others are more structured and skill-focused. We move at a pace that feels both safe and meaningful.
